What is the JCI TOYP?
The JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (JCI TOYP) program honours ten outstanding young people under the age of 40 each year. These individuals exemplify the spirit of the JCI Mission and provide extraordinary service to their communities. Whether through service, innovation, determination or revolutionary thinking, these young active citizens create positive impacts on a local and global level. These ten young active citizens will be honoured during the 2018 JCI World Congress.
Narrowing the 2018 JCI TOYP top twenty finalists to the final ten honorees will be done not only by the final judging panel, comprised of representatives of select partner organizations and the JCI President but also by a public popular online vote.
JCI is about inspiring change!
Who is Tiffini Wissing Hein?
You know her as the founder of Cool (kids’) cabs… but who is Tiffini Wissing Hein?
Mom, foster mom, place of safety and proud business owner, Tiffini has her plate full with an abundance of wonderful activities that she juggles with pride. If she’s not at the Cool (kids’) Cabs office, you’ll find her hunting bugs with her growing brood of children or brainstorming ways to keep kids safe on the roads.
A ferocious advocate of South Africa, Tiffini is involved in a variety of community projects and outreaches and is happiest when is a pair of sneakers, on ground level or supporting another woman through one of the many levelling experiences of life.
With a passion for safety that borders on an obsession, Tiffini is currently working on a program to roll out in to townships and peri-urban areas, so as to extend some of the wonderful features of the Cool (kids’) Cabs’ offering, to children on all corners of the economic spectrum, whilst empowering entrepreneurs.
